LAS VEGAS, NV — eCommLink, a leading value added prepaid debit processor, announced today the reorganization of their executive team in order to strengthen its ability to handle the company's growing domestic business. At the same time, the company announced a new initiative designed to lay the ground work for global expansion in order to capitalize on growth in international markets.
As part of the restructuring, eCommLink has promoted Ennio Ponzetto to CEO, where he will be responsible for overseeing all domestic business. In creating his executive team, Ponzetto has promoted Victor Newsom to Chief Operating Officer and hired a seasoned prepaid executive, Paul Smith, as Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Additionally, Raymond Lu, who has been with eCommLink since 2003, has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Engineering and named chairman of the eCommLink Technology Steering Committee.

While the company's primary focus continues to be expansion of its core US-based prepaid processor business, eCommLink is also positioning itself for worldwide expansion with a new global initiative. As part of this new initiative, T. Jack Williams has been named Corporate Development Office for eCommLink. In this position, Williams will be charged with developing key global partnerships that will help lay the foundation for international growth beginning in the second half of 2009.
