eCommLink congratulates Allow Card of America on winning prestigious OSCARDS award in Paris

December 1, 2006

LAS VEGAS, NV — Allow Card, a stored-value card for teenagers, was awarded the prestigious OSCARDS award in international competition at an awards ceremony in Paris on Nov. 8, 2006.

The OSCARDS, sponsored by France's Publi-News, are awarded annually to honor the world's most-innovative credit, debit and stored-value cards. The OSCARDS honor distinguishes the Allow Card as the industry's most noteworthy prepaid card this year.

"Receiving the 2006 OSCARDS award for the Allow Card is a tremendous privilege and honor," said Marla Beans, CEO of Allow Card of America. "The Allow Card is unique because it addresses many of the challenges parents face in educating youth on finance, both in the United States and abroad. It provides families with financial tools to help support and teach responsible money management to children. We are truly appreciative of the industry recognition inherent in receiving an OSCARDS award and feel justified in our commitment to making financial education the foundation of the Allow Card."

Don Barbacovi, vice president of sales and business development for eCommLink, said, "As the Allow Card payment processor, all of us at eCommLink are so proud of this international recognition. We congratulate Allow Card on winning the OSCARDS and being named the most-innovative card in this year's prepaid card category."

The Allow Card, a prepaid card for teenagers offered by Mesa, Ariz.-based Allow Card of America, Inc., was one of four cards in its category—the only prepaid card from the United States—nominated for the prestigious award.

OSCARDS director Ange Galula wrote in Publi-News: "This selection follows a one-year process during which Alténor Consulting and Publi-News together identified 250 innovative cards worldwide. Of those 250 cards, 20 were selected in the following categories: 1) rewards and loyalty programs, 2) services, 3) shapes, design and visuals, 4) pre-paid cards, and 5) technologies."

Galula continued, "Banking experts from France, Belgium, the United States and Singapore voted to decide the winners in each category."

The Allow Card is available online at www.AllowCard.com and can be used everywhere MasterCard® debit is accepted. Nearly 25,000 Allow Cards will be in circulation by the end of 2006.
